Marit
Stromoy
Marit, from Norway, began powerboat racing at 12 in 1989. She won three European titles in S-550 before moving to F2, earning multiple podiums. In 2007, she achieved her dream of racing in F1 H2O, making history as the first woman to win a World Championship race. In 2019, she ranked third in the F1 H2O World Championship, competing solely against men. Still active in F1, she also coaches Team Brazil’s pilots.
Beyond racing, Marit is a professional singer and keynote speaker.

Timmy
Hansen
Timmy Hansen has established himself as a formidable rallycross competitor since transitioning from single-seaters to rallycross. Joining the FIA World Rallycross Championship in 2014, he quickly made a mark by securing his first victory in Italy and finishing fourth in the standings. His partnership with Catie Munnings on the Andretti Extreme E team has been fruitful, with an X Prix win and six podiums.
Hansen's exceptional skill culminated in winning the World RX Drivers’ title in 2019 after four wins that season, contributing to his remarkable career tally of 13 victories, 45 podiums, and four other top-three championship finishes.

He also serves as Group Vice Chairman of SHEIN, the largest on-demand global fashion e-retailer. Eduardo
"Duda" Melzer
Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer, is the Founder and CEO of eB Capital, a distinguished investment firm in Brazil. He has a notable business leadership background, including a previous role as CEO of Grupo RBS and involvement in various companies' boards.
Eduardo also co-founded a media startup in the US. In the social sector, he significantly contributed to Brazil's COVID-19 vaccination campaign through Unidos Pela Vacina and engages in social initiatives at Hospital Albert Einstein in São Paulo.

James comes to the team with an extensive background as a marine engineer and a fabricator welder, among other boat building trades. He has worked on many projects in both Marine and Automotive and he has supported numerous powerboat racing projects in recent years.
James was involved in the rebuild of the racing Yacht Shamrock V, the last wooden J class racing in the Americas Cup in 1930. He is dedicated to getting the job done to the highest standard and is detail orientated which serves the team well on new boat designs such as the Racebird.

James comes to the team with an extensive background as a marine engineer and a fabricator welder, among other boat building trades. He has worked on many projects in both Marine and Automotive and he has supported numerous powerboat racing projects in recent years.
James was involved in the rebuild of the racing Yacht Shamrock V, the last wooden J class racing in the Americas Cup in 1930. He is dedicated to getting the job done to the highest standard and is detail orientated which serves the team well on new boat designs such as the Racebird.

Jeff has worked in motorsports for 20 years, primarily in air racing. He is the leading figure in organizing airplane races around the world, having led on more than 15 major air races and other championships across four continents. Jeff recently began converting race planes to all-electric propulsion for the launch of the first electric airplane racing series. He also spent a season on the Virgin Racing Formula E Team in the Formula E Championship for electric car racing.
Jeff is the President of the Environmental Commission of the World Air Sports Federation (FAI) and holds an MBA from London Business School, a BSc in Broadcast Journalism and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.

Josep is a versatile Aeronautical and Motorsport engineer with two years as Rally Engineer in World Rally Championship, one season as Performance Engineer in Formula E and one season in Indycar. Previous fields of experience join together to make Team Brazil’s Racebird fly over the water with maximum performance.
Josep’s world championship motorsport experience, which is honed and in line with Team Brazil’s pilots, brings the performance edge to help the team reaching the top spot. Josep holds an MSc in Advanced Motorsport Engineering (1st class).
